Pre-Christmas Craziness! (LONG)

So there's less than a month until Christmas...

At the beginning of November I was bricking it because I was so unprepared. However, I'm actually pretty impressed with myself because in the last 4 weeks I have bought all of the presents for 7 out of the 13 people I'm buying for this year! I've bought some other presents but I've finished buying for 7 people.

Those are the easy 7 though, the rest are harder, my mum is really difficult to buy for this year because she doesn't need any more of my usual go to gifts for her. Same situation with my boyfriend Tom, one of them is a secret Santa, my best friend is hard to buy for this year for some reason (my problem, I keep seeing things I've already bought her in the past or that she's already bought herself), I know what I'm giving her for her baby (a crocheted and lined taggy pillow) I just have to make it (she knows too) and one of my nieces is just extra and my sister keeps forgetting to ask her for specifics. 😂

So that's where I'm at right now when it comes to Christmas, but I am so ready for winter! This summer was really hot and long, I don't do well in the sun because of my migraines and I do not cope well in heat, I get heat exhaustion pretty easily. So obviously I was careful making sure I frequently put water in and on my body blah blah blah... Now that's over I'm ready for jumpers, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, thermal leggings, boots and SNOW! I'm also ready for winter food, I love making my own chunky beef and veg stews and eating my mum's roast dinners that I cover with more gravy than a single human should consume in one sitting. It's not even to cover the taste of anything, her roast dinners are REALLY nice, I refuse to eat any kind roast potato unless it's my mum's freshly made ones, but I just really like gravy. 😂

I'm definitely looking forward to having all of the presents bought and at my house because I don't start wrapping presents until I have all of them, because that way I can wrap and organise all of them into gift bags in one evening.

Before that happens though, in a few days we'll probably start decorating the house, I also have to make some more Christmas cards, promote them and pick out the ones I want to use because usually my mum is the only person who buys them anyway so she always gets second pick.

So the agenda for the next week or so? Have a nice relaxing bath and pamper day tomorrow, finish up the small crafty things I have going on in the living room, tidy up the living room clearing more space than usual in preparation for Christmas decorations, make Christmas cards, pick out Christmas cards, ask mum to pick out Christmas cards, write in Christmas cards, send Christmas cards, at least start to make the taggy pillow and continue buying presents, hopefully finishing off the presents section of preparation.

That sounds like a lot to do in a week, and I've still got to record a couple more videos for YouTube as well but that isn't urgent until 2 weeks time because I schedule my uploads, so that can be done whenever I have time. With all that said, I'm going to bed. Sorry for the essay, let me know if you're struggling with Christmas too so we can encourage each other.

Getting to know me...

Hey guys, So this is my new blog...the blogging website I had my old blog on got shut down or something I don't know so I'm starting again... I wanted to start a blog for several reasons. I wanted somewhere to talk about my problems where I can think how to phrase something rather than blurting it out wrong like I sometimes do on YouTube, I wanted somewhere else to share my reviews of products because I love doing product reviews, and I just like networking and talking to new people but because of my severe anxiety I can't really go out into the real world and do it so I prefer to connect with people online. So I guess the first blog should be the traditional "get to know me" post. Well I'm a pagan for starters, might as well get that out of the way. I have physical and mental health conditions...BPD, hyper mobility syndrome, hypersensitivities of various kinds, vitamin deficiencies... well Vitamin D at least the others still need to be tested. So now ...

Massive Storm

Okay so my second blog of the day is a little more light hearted. THERE'S A MASSIVE STORM! There's fucking beautiful forked lightning and big rolls of thunder with a shit ton of rain and I fucking love it! And I bet it's charging my crystals nicely too :) This is a rather short blog but hey if you live in the south east of England and you love storms you know what I'm feeling right now. Peace out

Just can't escape the drama

Okay so lately I've been increasingly annoyed by some of my so-called "friends" and I need to rant a little bit. Also before you read this and think I'm a hypocrite, if I have a problem with someone I respect I will tell them, but if I don't respect them then telling them isn't gonna do any good so why waste my fucking time. And cue rant starting... I'm so fed up of some people constantly moaning about their "problems" but then bragging about something they've got out of exploiting those problems or whatever. It just pisses me off if you have a problem try and solve it don't just sit around and wait for shit to be handed to you. (Not a shot at people on benefits who really need it, I'm on benefits and I have friends and family that are too but the reality is some people still find a way to abuse the system, partly because that system is fucked but that's a whole different issue for another day). Another thing that's got me...
